The wine is traditionally fermented in a small open fermenter, with twice daily plunging and pumping over, prior to basket pressing. Dark and brooding, very concentrated palate with a wondrous length of fruit, oak and tannin.
The Hampel family have been farming their land in the North of the Barossa Valley for 6 generations.
