The bouquet is fragrant with perfumed violets, cassis, dark chocolate, black olive, tobacco leaves and dried sage. Subtle mocha and vanillin oak complement the fruit
aromas. Medium bodied with ripe, powdery tannins. A dark‐fruited gravelly palate of blackcurrant and blueberries with savoury black olive and spice notes. Oak integration is seamless. There is a sense of both elegance and power; the flavours deepen and spread across the palate, freshened with balanced acidity, building to a long finish.
